Realistic Race Car Steering Wheel in 3D

This 3D model of the Cosworth MK2 steering wheel marked my first contact with the world of 3D modeling. I remember spending hours in Blender trying to create something remotely similar. This project motivated me to study and improve my skills with the software. Today, after more than a year of learning, I present my evolution by recreating this model in Blender, where it all began.

For those unfamiliar, this steering wheel is used in LMP2 prototypes that compete in races like IMSA and the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, known for featuring some of the fastest cars in the world.

This was the starting point that sparked my passion for the creative world of 3D modeling.
